Credit Analyst

Purpose of the Job: The Credit Analyst is responsible for performing duties pertaining to accounting and financial analysis heavily focused in Accounts Receivable (AR), to support the day‐to‐day operations of the Accounting and Finance department.

Reports To: Accounting Manager and collaborates with the other team members of the Accounting and Finance department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Undertake accurate, complete and timely processing of accounting transactions related to AR.
  • Record customer payments received electronically and deposit incoming checks through the electronic check deposit system.
  • Refine and implement strategies for improving collections, reducing DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), and mitigating bad debt risks.
  • For contracts/orders under letter of credit payment terms, prepare the required documents to comply with the terms/conditions under the letter of credit, for Accounting Manager’s review and approval prior to submission.
  • Review credit applications from new and existing customers for completeness and provide recommendations for Controller’s review and approval, based on available purchase history/projections, payment activity and financial viability (via Dunn & Bradstreet credit report).
  • Continuously monitor customer creditworthiness and update risk assessments based on changing financial conditions or industry trends.
  • Create periodic reports on AR aging, credit exposures, and customer payment trends for senior management.
  • Work closely with regional Sales Directors and their teams to obtain status updates on customer accounts and obtain support in collecting on open receivables.
  • Contribute to the organizational mandate of ensuring effective controls over financial reporting, as well detecting and preventing fraud.
  • Other related duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience, especially as it relates specifically to the AR functions
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of US generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts and treatment, particularly in AR and financial reporting
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems
  • Intermediate experience in Windows‐based software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word

Field Service Engineer (Structural)

Purpose of the Job:

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for executing complex programs on-site, including aircraft scheduled maintenance, structural modifications, system upgrades, on-the-job training, and assisting with aircraft depot setup. The primary role will be to maintain customer satisfaction and manage on-site work while ensuring adherence to program metrics. This role requires expertise in aircraft general maintenance practice, advanced structural repairs, and extensive proficiency in these areas to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Reports to: Director of Engineering and Technical Solutions

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initial Program Planning
    • Review program proposals to ensure technical accuracy, feasibility, and completeness.
    • Assist in developing the technical requirements for subcontractor Statements of Evaluate subcontractor proposals proposing changes as necessary and developing an achievable plan.
    • Assist the Program Manager in developing the work breakdown structure and timelines.
    • Lead site surveys as the S3 representative ensuring effective and appropriate communication between the customer and S3’s subcontractors. Will be responsible for arranging proper transportation to/from the site and ensuring survey schedule is maintained.
  • Daily management of the worksite:
    • Manage the quality of work performed by customers and/or third-party contractors, ensuring that all work meets contract requirements and objectives and compliance with standards of quality and compliance.
    • Ensure the onsite portion of the program, including management of subcontractors, is keeping on task to meet contractual deadlines, maintaining effective program cost control, and meeting contract scope.
    • Conducts daily/weekly meetings with subcontractors, and potentially customers, to plan the day and week discussing any potential challenges that might impact schedule, cost, and/or scope.
    • Ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards, safety regulations, and standard industry practices at the worksite.
    • Communicates effectively between the customer, the Milwaukee program manager, and the on-site contractors properly representing S3 at all times in a pleasant and professional manner.
    • Effectively works to resolve on-site problems with the sub-contractor and effectively communicate program delays to the customer with proposed solutions.
    • Develops and provides regular reports to the Milwaukee program manager and the customer as required.
  • Manage internal and external communication during program execution:
    • Work with customers to define and formally request scope.
    • Collaborate with the program manager to mitigate any significant risks/issues.
    • Manage day-to-day issues with contractors, escalate any issues that require changes to the Statement of Work (SOW).
    • Keep internal teams informed of progress and challenges.
  • Be the subject matter expert in aircraft general maintenance, structural repairs, and aircraft structural modifications:
    • Continuously monitor industry news, trends, technology, relevant aircraft bulletins and directives.
    • Provide the sales team with technical input and answers as required.
    • Provide formal training when requested.
    • Provide support to sales in a technical support role during Customer visits.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years’ hands-on experience in heavy aircraft structural repairs and general aircraft maintenance
  2. Associate’s degree with Airframe & Powerplant certification.
  3. International and domestic travel up to 75% or 3 weeks without return trips (monthly) 50% (annually).
  4. Expert in aircraft drawings and technical data including USAF technical order, USN NAVAIRs, and US Army technical manuals.
  5. Experience in customer relationship management.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure.
  8. Proficient in MS Word, Excel,Project.
  9. Fluent in American English

Purpose of the Job:

The Supply Chain Lead – Solutions will strategically source and procure components, tooling, and services for large technical projects.  This role will collaborate closely with engineering and supplier partners to implement creative solutions that meet customer needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, build, and manage relationships with suppliers in the direct and indirect procurement space.
  • Determine best sourcing and execute purchase orders to fulfill project needs.

Purpose of the Job: Manage shipping, receiving, and daily warehouse activities.

Reports to: Director of Trade Compliance & Logistics

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of warehouse personnel and daily warehouse activities including:
    • Locating, picking, checking, staging, assembling, packaging, labeling, palletizing and preparing customer orders for shipment
    • Prioritization of daily warehouse traffic
    • Preparing and routing domestic and international shipments
    • Receiving all incoming materials
    • Performing quality inspection upon receipt of material
    • Checking condition of items, comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list, noting discrepancies
