COVID-19: Deployment of Virtual Workforce

Milwaukee, WI, USA – March 22, 2020 – The recent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak impacted many organizations across the globe. With the increased responsibility of being a global company and impacting several countries, S3 International acted quickly to adjust to the developing situation.  It has been of the utmost importance for S3 to transition operations virtually to help keep our employees, clients, and communities safe while maintaining business continuity for our partners.

“We are all about the safety of our associates and those that work with us. Our board was able to work closely with the HR and IT teams to support all our associates in a quick transition without any business disruption,” said Sarah Lovy, S3 Human Resources Manager. “It was also a high priority for us to help maintain associate engagement and support mental health during this time, so we were able to launch several new initiatives internally to take care of our people.”

S3 was able to move to a virtual workforce over the course of five days, across 6 countries. To complete and support this transition, new training was provided to all associates as well as equipping everyone with the appropriate technology to make the transition as seamless as possible. The ability to move quickly reflects the organization’s standard of professionalism and responsiveness that they demonstrate on a daily basis to customers.
