Milwaukee, WI, USA – June 9, 2021 – This past year at S3, as it has been for everyone, was a year of change. From the rebrand to the expansion of corporate headquarters, S3 AeroDefense has created its own momentum and success. This change goes deep within the foundations of the company culture at S3, it’s been an active movement led by leadership in partnership with the HR team here to reflect on what was a difficult year for many and create positive and forwarding thinking employee environment.
“We knew that we wanted to maintain our team engagement and employee satisfaction, while also ensuring them we are just as invested in their success and development as they are themselves. With less face-to-face time, we wanted to put this message at the forefront for our people,” said Sarah Lovy, Human Resources Manager at S3 AeroDefense.
S3 AeroDefense launched an internal training and development program for their associates this past Spring. Featuring internal subject matter experts as the leaders of topics ranging from excel to in-depth industry specifics, there is something for everyone to learn. “We really wanted to not only build the skill set of our employees who were eager to learn but also give those who wanted to expand their own experience by leading training and building their own credibility a chance to shine,” said Lovy.
The live and on-demand recording trainings are housed in an internal training library, this way even employees with busy schedules have the ability to learn when the time is best for them. This training program brings to the forefront S3’s core values of trust, respect, innovation, and excellence. Empowering teams companywide by providing people the information and skills they need to continue to grow, without limiting it to certain titles or roles.
