Katherine May Joins S3 AeroDefense Team

Milwaukee, WI, USA – June 10, 2021 – S3 AeroDefense is proud to announce the hiring of Katherine May as Director of Materials. May comes to S3 with more than 10 years of experience in Operations Management, a Masters in International Management through the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises in Bordeaux, France, a Masters in Business Administration through Northern Illinois University, and as a Bachelor of Science in History through Illinois State University.

“Katherine was a great find for S3.  She has a strong leadership mindset and a thorough understanding of business practices that are aligned with our military aerospace after-market strategy and philosophy,” said Jeff Wnuk, Sr. Vice President of Operations at S3 AeroDefense. “Katherine will be a key member of our team as we continue to rapidly expand our portfolio of services to military operators worldwide.”

May was most recently at REV Group as an Operations & Inventory Director where she managed the after-market operations to provide quality assurance, improve on-time delivery, and provide international multi-site operations and cost analysis.  Katherine managed 80 direct & indirect staff reports along with inventory valued at $22M. She has a strong knowledge of USG contracts and logistics having worked 4 years as a Senior Logistics Officer for the US Army, where she was heavily involved in the MRO side of operations management.

In her role, May will be responsible for managing the company’s inventory and materials, allowing the company to increase efficiency and reliability for clients around the world. With a proven reputation of success in implementing and adopting best practices and developing high-performance teams, we anticipate great things with this new appointment.
