Thomas Morrell Named Director of Operations

Milwaukee, WI, USA – May 25, 2021 –Thomas Morrell has joined S3 AeroDefense as Director of Operations reporting to Jeff Wnuk, our company’s Sr. VP of Operations. In this role, Morell will be responsible for managing all operations related to the repair shop.

“As an established world-class MRO service provider in the military aerospace market, it was essential for S3 to find a person with Tom’s operational experience and expertise to lead our repair operations,” said Jeff Wnuk, Sr. Vice President of Operations at S3 AeroDefense. “Tom will be critical in ensuring that we continue to deliver on our commitment of reliability with quality service and best value.

His diverse workplace experience, as an Aerospace Maintenance Site Manager and a United States Military Officer, has allowed him to model successful management skills in diverse settings, and across multiple organizations and industries. In his most recent role as Site Manager at Safran Landing Systems, Morell managed their MRO facility in Milwaukee providing wheel and brake component MRO services for United, FedEx, and military defense contracts. In his role at Safran, he focused on creating efficiency goals, improving production areas, overseeing finances, and managing all outside services, and assisted with inspections, personnel issues, and other continuous improvement measures. Prior to Safran, he was in the US Coast Guard where he specialized in Avionics and held many different operational positions in the USCG aviation division.
