S3 AeroDefense is proud to announce the continued partnership with MRA, one of the largest employer associations in the nation.  MRA -The Management Association, helps support organizations thrive by offering the most comprehensive services for building a successful workplace and powerful workforce.  Growth and change always come with the potential of growing pains, but with their recent changes, S3 has taken a proactive approach to maintaining company culture.

“At S3, it’s important to us to develop a team that comes to work happy and passionate every day about what they do.  It’s easy for organizations to overlook this, but we have always understood the importance of maintaining our culture,” said Aksel Sidem, President S3 AeroDefense.  “We want S3 to be a place people are proud to work at, somewhere that gives them a sense of personal fulfillment and, most importantly, a place they feel valued, heard, and respected.”

Beginning in March 2019, S3 worked with MRA to conduct stay interviews which involves research, individual employee interviews, and data analysis on a continued bi-annual basis, to monitor employee satisfaction and sentiment.  Since the initial rollout of the partnership, S3 has been able to take action and has seen a 22% increase in positive employee responses over the past year, to questions regarding feeling valued and supported.

“S3 has embraced the support and value of MRA’s HRA services, including recruiting and retention.  One of MRA’s main goals is to help companies ensure long-term success and future of their employees, and the partnership between S3 and MRA has provided the tools for S3 to just that,” says Stephanie Folk, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Senior Recruiting Business Partner at MRA.  “The leadership and management team there has taken employee retention seriously.  Our partnership helps them give their employees a voice, and creates an open dialogue between the employee and the management team.”

The priority that S3 has placed on gathering actionable information to help increase employee retention and overall job satisfaction is an ongoing process.  With the rapid growth the organization has experienced over the past several years it’s been a continued priority for S3 leadership to build and sustain a high-performing, high-retention workforce.
