Continuous Training: A Cornerstone of Aviation Maintenance Excellence

S3 AeroDefense has received the FAA Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Employer Diamond Award of Excellence for 2025, recognizing the organization’s commitment to continuous training and professional development in aviation maintenance.

The award is part of the FAA Aviation Technician Awards Program, which encourages aviation maintenance technicians and employers to actively participate in ongoing training to maintain safety, reliability, and technical proficiency.

The FAA Aviation Technician Awards Program

Established in 1991, the program recognizes technicians who complete qualifying training hours each year and employers who promote professional development within their organizations.

Organizations that achieve 100 percent participation among eligible technicians qualify for the program’s highest employer recognition: the Diamond AMT Employer Award of Excellence.

Team Achievement

For the 2025 award cycle, all ten eligible S3 AeroDefense technicians completed the   FAA-approved training hours, earning the Individual AMT Award.

Because every eligible technician participated, S3 AeroDefense received the Diamond AMT Employer Award, demonstrating S3’s collective commitment to maintain technical proficiency across its repair station operations.
